Day 1In early October, 2016, my wife and I visited some friends in San Francisco. It was an amazing trip, with amazing views, and once in a lifetime experiences. The first omen of a good trip was seeing a Tesla Model X on the way to the city from the airport. After we arrived, we had a small walking tour and caught some amazing views. We stayed in Noe Valley. Next, we walked through the Ferry Building, a pre-1900 building, which houses a farmer's market now. Click on the picture below to be directed to the Ferry Building's website. After powering up with a Blue Bottle coffee, we strolled along the pier, then decided to check out Coit Tower. Coit Tower was built in 1933. We started at sea level and walked up A LOT OF STEPS to get to the base of Coit Tower. The views at the top were amazing, overlooking both the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate. We finished the walk by climbing down the many steps we used to climb up to Coit Tower. Once back at sea level, we enjoyed some more great views as the sun set, creating a perfect way to end our first day in San Francisco.
